Chicken Au Gratin
 
500 gms. boneless chicken (1 inch pieces)
2 tbsp. plain flour
2 tbsp. yellow butter
500 ml milk
1 tsp. pepper powder
salt to taste
A pinch of nutmeg powder
2 tbsp. coriander leaves (finely chopped)
100 gms. Processed cheese, grated
50 gms. bread crumbs
30 gms. butter
To stream the chicken
1. Place the boneless chicken pieces, in a 1 litre dish, sprinkle with a little water, microwave partially covered on 100% power for 2 min.
2. Mix and allow to stand covered under an aluminum foil for 10 min.

To make the white sauce
1. Heat butter in a 1.5 litre dish on 100% power for 40 sec.
2. Add the flour, mix microwave on 100% power for 2:30 min. Stir 2-3 times during cooking.
3. Pour in the milk, in a stream and stir constantly to avoid lumps. Microwave on 100% power for 7 min. Stir 2-3 times during cooking.
4. Mix in the salt, pepper, chopped coriander and nutmeg powder.

To make the au gratin
1. Add steamed chicken to white sauce, Mix well.
2. Sprinkle the pie whth grated cheese, top with breadcrumbs and dot with a little butter.
3. Pre heat the oven on 'Convection' at 250¨¬C
4. Place the pie on the low rack and baked at stream 250 for 20 min.
