Pasta with Barbequed Chicken
 
200 gms. ribbon pasta
800 ml. water
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. oil
For the barbequed chicken
500 gms. boneless chicken (cut into 1 inch pieces)
100 gms. thick curd
1 tsp. ginger paste
1 tsp. garlic paste
1 tsp. red chilli powder
1 tsp. garam masala powder
salt to taste
juice of 1/2 a lemon
1. Boil the water, in a 2 litre deep dish, on 100% power for 8 min.
2. Add the pasta, salt and oil. Microwave, uncovered at 100% power for 8 min.
3. Drain in a colander, under cold running water and keep aside.

To make the chicken
1. prick the chicken pieces, all over with a fork or knife.
2. Make paste of salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and lemon juice, rub well on chicken pieces and leave aside for 1/2 an hour.
3. Mix lightly beaten curd, ginger paste and garlic paste. Add the chicken pieces. Mix well.
4. Cover and marinade, in the refrigerator, for 203 hours.
5. Pre heat the oven on 'convection' at 190¨¬C, with the lightly greased metal tray placed on the high rack.
6. Place the chicken pieces on the hot metal tray brush with oil and cook at 190¨¬C, for 25 min. turn the pieces over 2-3 times for even cooking, brushing with a little oil each time.
7. Add the shredded chicken pieces to any gravy of your choice.
8. Serve hot with pasta
