How to drain tofu

When stored tofu is cooked right away, absorbed water from tofu oozes out and makes it difficult to maintain adequate seasoning. To drain water from tofu, layout kitchen towel and put tofu on top 4 hours before cooking. You can also use folded newspaper covered with a sheet of clean cooking paper. Tofu drains in 30 minutes.



The order of mixing ingredients for salad dressing

Salad is a very simple source of a variety of vegetables. You can buy salad dressing from grocery stores, but it is better to prepare at home. Selecting ingredients, such as salad oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper, is important, but to order of mixing the ingredients is more important. Add salad oil after salt because it does not dissolve in oil. Add the dressing just before serving because water from vegetables oozes out and ruins salad.



Hint of salt for much better tasting coffee

Coffee machine is important for tasty coffee. How to prepare coffee is also important. Salt adds to the flavor of coffee. When using a siphon, add salt when water is siphoned up. When using a drip machine, add hint of salt right after coffee is made.



Removing extra moisture of salad with peanuts

When making salads with apples, persimmons, pears, and pineapples, extra moisture from fruits tends to ruin the taste of salad. Adding ground peanuts not only help reducing the extra moisture from salad but also adds fragrant flavor which goes really well with fruits.
